Kit wrote her first novel while procrastinating on her Master's thesis. She wrote her second novel while procrastinating on her Ph.D. dissertation. (No coincidence that it took her 10 years to get through grad school). After working for a decade as a clinical psychologist, she shifted to the corporate world where she helps experts communicate complex ideas in a simple way.

She lives near the great city of Chicago, with her husband, son, and three very furry cats. Every day the family uses stoneware plates, bowls, and mugs that she made herself.

Kit is fond of margaritas, rom coms, and beach vacations with plenty of fun reading.
